Exhibition “The Worlds of Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter”<\/strong><\/h5>\r\nIlon Wikland\u2019s illustrations for Astrid Lindgren\u2019s book “Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter”<\/em>\r\n\r\nFrom May 2026<\/em>\r\n\r\nAt Ilon\u2019s Wonderland, we are hosting a unique exhibition of Ilon Wikland\u2019s illustrations: “The Worlds of Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter”.\r\nAstrid Lindgren wrote “Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter” in 1981, and it became her final major novel. It is a story that weaves together childhood memories, the journey of growing up, and a deep connection to nature. This year, the character of Ronja turns 45.\r\n\r\nThe exhibition features nearly all of Ilon Wikland\u2019s original illustrations created for the book. While they could be viewed in chronological order, we invite our visitors to take a different path. The illustrations are divided into “worlds” \u2013 places, encounters, and experiences through which Ronja moves, grows, and discovers herself and the world around her. The cinema hall displays visiting exhibitions and shows a film of the life of Ilon Wikland.\r\nFrom May to August visitors can also take a look around the courtyard of the Wonderland \u2013 do handicrafts in Mattias\u2019s house and Handicrafts Cottage, try out one\u2019s hand at throwing games, walk with crutches and be an actor or simply play.
